Darul Islam
Darul Islam (from Arab., dār al-Islām). A revolutionary movement in Indonesia whose aim was to establish an Islamic state. Its leader was Sekarmadji Maridjan Kartosuwirjo (1905–62), who declared the Islamic State of Indonesia in 1949.
