Dāgaba

Dāgaba (Pāli dhātu, ‘element, essence’ + garbha, ‘chamber, cave’). A Buddhist mound where relics are kept, hence occasionally a relic-container. A dāgaba usually has the same form as a stūpa but not all stūpas are dāgabas, because not all stūpas contain relics.
