Losonczi, Pál
Pál Losonczi (päl lōshōn´tsē), 1919–2005, Hungarian Communist politician. He joined the Communist party in 1945 and became a member of parliament in 1953. Active in the cooperative farm program, Losonczi was minister of agriculture (1960–67). He was Hungarian president from 1967 to 1987.
