TELEM EMANA
Israeli religious political party, founded in April 1996, by Rabbi Yosef Azran, a dissident from the ultra-orthodox SHAS Party, former deputy minister of finance in 1988, and deputy speaker of the Knesset in 1992. Sephardi in observance, with ideas close to Likud, this group was formed in anticipation of the Knesset elections of May 1996, as a result of which it obtained no seats.
