Mbabane

Mbabane Capital of Swaziland, in the nw of the country, in the high veld region of s Africa. It is both an administrative and commercial centre, serving the surrounding agricultural region. Tin and iron ore are mined nearby. Pop. (2002 est.) 67,200.

Mbabane

Mbabane (əmbäbä´nā), town (1996 est. pop. 58,100), capital of Swaziland, NW Swaziland, in the Mdimba Mts. It is primarily an administrative center but serves as a commercial hub for the surrounding agricultural region. Tin and iron are mined nearby.
