Sark
Sark One of the Channel Islands of the United Kingdom, divided into Great Sark and Little Sark, which are connected by a causeway. Sark is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey with a feudal organization dating from the late 17th century. There are no cars and the residents pay no income tax. The population swells in the summer with an influx of tourists. Area: 5.5sq km (2.1sq mi). Pop. (1996) 550.
