Mansell, Nigel
Mansell, Nigel (1953– ) English racing car driver. Mansell made his Formula 1 debut for Lotus (1980). In 1985, he joined Williams and won his first race, the European Grand Prix. Mansell won the world driver's championship in 1992. He then left Formula 1 to compete in the US IndyCar championships, becoming World Series champion in 1993.
