Born November 19, 1956, in Agana, Guam; raised in Ashland, OR; daughter of Robert Paul (a teacher and officer in the U.S. Navy) and Hiroe (maiden name, Nagase) Curry; married Brian Wilson Ross (a software executive), October 21, 1987; children: Anna McKenzie, William Walker. Education: University of Oregon, degree in journalism, 1978. Avocational Interests: Breast cancer causes such as the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation; art history.
