Nebraska Association of Legal Assistants Student Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To encourage and assist men and women in pursuit of training for careers as legal assistants. Focus: Law. Qualif.: Applicants must be Nebraska residents admitted and committed to enroll as half-time or full-time students in a university, college, community college or business college located in Nebraska that offers an accredited legal assistant program; must be in good standing with at least 3.0 GPA at the time of application. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form, resume, two letters of recommendation from instructors, employers or community leaders, a copy of a letter of acceptance to a Nebraska legal assistant program, a statement of good academic standing for the most recent college term; recipients must pass the interview. Deadline: May 18.
