National Huguenot Society Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To coordinate activities of member societies; to promote the principles and virtues of the Huguenots, commemorate Huguenot history, collect and preserve historical data and relics illustrative of Huguenot life, manners, and customs; to provide financial aid for higher education of students who are members of the National Huguenot Society. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be regular memberS of the National Huguenot Society; must be students at an accredited college or graduate school with at least two semesters of history which include at least in part a history of religion; applicants must have completed at least two years of college with a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic standing and financial need.

Funds Avail.: $5,000. To Apply: Applicants must complete the application form; attach proof of enrollment at an accredited college or graduate school; attach a transcript of college grades for last two years showing a 3.0 or better GPA; attach proof of membership in the National Huguenot Society.
