Description:

Independent Roman Catholic, comprehensive, coed. Awards bachelor's, master's, and first professional degrees. Founded 1808. Setting: 1,400-acre rural campus with easy access to Baltimore and Washington, DC. Endowment: $31 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $7045 per student. Total enrollment: 2,125. Application fee: $35. Comprehensive fee: $30,930 includes full-time tuition ($22,500), mandatory fees ($400), and college room and board ($8030). College room only: $3930.
