MAC Emeritus Scholarships for First-Time Meeting Attendees (All, Professional Development/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide travel and conference assistance for first-time MAC meeting attendees. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be attending his/her first MAC meeting. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on their statements.

Funds Avail.: One Scholarship of $500 or two scholarships of $250. Number Awarded: Varies. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form available at the website; an essay (maximum of 500 words) on the importance of the MAC meeting to the applicant and a summary of financial requirements; and a letter of support (optional). MAC Louisa Bowen Memorial Scholarships for Graduate Students in Archival Administration (Graduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To enhance education and career in archival administration. Focus: Library and archival sciences. Qua-

lif.: Applicants must be a resident or full-time student residing in: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin; enrolled or accepted in a graduate, multi-course program in archival administration; have a GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale. Criteria: Recipient is selected based on his or her merits.

Funds Avail.: $750 and a one-year membership. Number Awarded: 1.
