Michigan League for Nursing Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To promote professional growth and continuous quality improvement of educators for the nursing workforce; to enhance collaboration between nursing education and healthcare delivery systems; and to support recruitment for the nursing workforce. Focus: Nursing. Qualif.: Applicants must be enrolled in a program leading to a Licensed Practical Nurse certification, an Associate Degree in Nursing, or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Applicants must have successfully completed at least one nursing course with a clinical component and must have received a “C” grade or better. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on quality of essay, academic performance and financial need.
Funds Avail.: $500. Number Awarded: 4. To Apply: Applicants must submit an unfolded, completed application form in an 8 1/2 x 11 envelope. Must also submit an unfolded letter of endorsement and essay. Deadline: March 15.
