LULAC GE Scholarships(Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide high quality educational opportunities to the Hispanic community. Focus: Hispanic American Studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident; Must have applied to or be enrolled in a college, university, or graduate school, including 2-year colleges, or vocational schools that lead to an associate's degree; must not be related to a scholarship committee member, the Council President, or an individual contributor to the local funds of the Council. Criteria: Recipients are chosen through a very rigorous selection process my members of LULAC's scholarship committee.

Funds Avail.: $2,500. To Apply: Applicants should mail their application directly to the nearest LULAC Council.

Qualif.: Applicant must be an American citizen or legal resident; Must have applied to or be enrolled in a college, university, or graduate school, including 2-year colleges, or vocational schools that lead to an associate's degree; must not be related to a scholarship committee member, the Council President, or an individual contributor to the local funds of the Council. Criteria: Recipients are chosen through a very rigorous selection process by members of LNESC's scholarship committee.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants should be mailed directly their application to the nearest LULAC Council. Deadline: December 14.

Pepsi Escribe tu Futuro Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide high quality educational opportunities to the students. Focus: Hispanic American studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be a U.S. citizen; Must have applied to or be enrolled in a college, university, including 2-year colleges, or vocational schools that lead to an associate's degree. Criteria: Recipients of this scholarship are selected on the basis of academic achievement, participation in community service and/or extra-curricular activities, and financial need.

Funds Avail.: $500-$2,000. To Apply: Applications are available on the LNESC website and from participating LULAC Council; Students must complete the entire application. It should be mailed with a current complete official high school or college transcript of grade to the LULAC National Educational Service Centers (LNESC) national office. Deadline: February 28.
