Kappa Omicron Nu National Alumni Fellowships (Graduate/Fellowship)

Purpose: To support members with studies and research in family and consumer sciences. Focus: Home Economics. Qualif.: Applicant must be an active Kappa Omicron Nu member; enrolled in a master's program in home economics or one of the specializations. Criteria: Selection is based on applicant's potential for professional leadership and relevance of study or research to significant concerns related to home and family.

Funds Avail.: $2000. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form together with three letters of recommendations. Deadline: April 1.

Remarks: Awarded by the National Alumni Chapter.

Kappa Omicron Nu Undergraduate Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide opportunity for its member to attend The LeaderShape Institute. Focus: Leadership, Institutional and community. Qualif.: Applicant must be undergraduate student member with at least one more year in the undergraduate program of studies. Criteria: Applications are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis.

Funds Avail.: $1000. Number Awarded: 1. To Apply: Applicants must submit a short statement of commitment to leadership on campus during 2008-2009 academic year, and a short description of academic status. Send materials electronically to [email protected]. Deadline: February 15.
