Japanese American Bar Association Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To encourage pursuits in legal education among law students with ethnic backgrounds. Focus: Law. Qualif.: Applicants must be law students of various ethnic backgrounds. Criteria: Scholarship is given based on academic achievement, financial need, overcoming adversity, and desire to practice law in the Southern California.
Funds Avail.: $1,500. To Apply: Applicants must submit completed application along with their most recent law school transcript, current resume; and a personal statement of no more than 500 words. Deadline: January 14. Contact: JABA Educational Foundation at the above address (see entry 4012).
