Datatel Angelfire Scholarships (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support students who served the U.S. military and are attending an eligible Datatel client institution. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be an outstanding student currently attending an eligible Datatel client institution, who served the U.S. military in the Asian theater (Vietnam, Cambodia, or Laos during the 1964-1975 time-frame), or in Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom and/or Operation Iraqi Freedom; or a spouse or child of a Vietnam Veteran, or a refugee from Vietnam, Cambodia, or Laos. Criteria: Award is given based on the application materials.

Datatel Scholarships (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help deserving students meet education goals. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a student currently attending an eligible Datatel client institution; enrolled as full-time or part-time (taking at least six credit hours) undergraduate or graduate student. Criteria: Award is given based on the application.

Funds Avail.: $1000, $1600, and $2400. Number Awarded: 180 in 2008-2009 academic year. To Apply: Applicants must complete and submit an online application by the deadline; all applications and letters of recommendation are to be submitted electronically. Deadline: January 31. Russ Griffith Memorial Scholarships (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support returning students with their education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be an outstanding student attending an eligible Datatel client institution who has returned to school after an absence of five years or longer; full- and part-time, taking at least six credit hours, undergraduate or graduate student. Criteria: Awards are given based on the application materials.

Funds Avail.: $2000. Number Awarded: 50. To Apply: Applicants must complete and submit an on-line application together with the essay. Deadline: January 31.
