Association of Rehabilitation Nurses Scholarship Program (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide financial assistance to rehabilitation nurses working toward a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Focus: Nursing. Qualif.: Applicants must be a member of ARN currently enrolled in a BSN degree program, in good standing, completed at least one course and practices rehabilitation nursing at present, a minimum of two years. Criteria: The recipient will be selected by ARN based on the application materials provided.
Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit completed form; transcript documenting enrollment in a BSN program; typed 1-3 page summary of professional and educational goals and achievements, which includes, involvement in ARN at the national and local levels, continuing education participation in the past three to five years, professional publications or presentations, community involvement, particularly related to advocating for individuals with disabilities, efforts made to improve rehabilitation nursing practice and the delivery of care in your work setting. Mary Ann Mikulic Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide financial assistance covering full tuition of the Professional Rehabilitation Nursing course. Focus: Nursing. Qualif.: Applicants must be registered nurses with current license currently practicing in the specialty of rehabilitation nursing and able to meet all other financial responsibilities incurred by participating in the course. Criteria: Applicants will be evaluated by the Scholarship committee based on the application provided.
