Purpose: To provide financial support for conservation professionals from Latin America and the Caribbean to participate in the annual meeting. Focus: Latin American Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be Latin American. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need.

Foundation of American Institute for Conservation Lecture Grants (Professional Development/Grant)

Purpose: To provide funds and presentations of public lectures to help advance public awareness of conservation. Focus: Latin American Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be Latin American. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on the ability of the project to advance public awareness of conservation; number of people reached, other project outcomes; speaker's ability to communicate the proposed topic; and feasibility of project.

Funds Avail.: $500. To Apply: Applicants must complete the online application form and are asked to wait for the application packet that will be sent by the award committee. Deadline: February 15.
