Koch, Gaetano
Koch, Gaetano (1849–1910). Italian architect, he designed mostly in a refined Cinquecento style, and built mostly in Rome. His works include the Palazzo Voghera, Via Nazionale (1870s), the splendid Piazza dell'Esedra (1880), with its quadrant façades, the Palazzo Boncompagni, Largo Goldoni (1886–90), the tiny Museo Barracco (from 1902), and his masterpiece, the Palazzo Margherita, Via Veneto (1886). He helped to complete Sacconi's monument to King Victor Emmanuel II (1885–1911).
