Diprotodontia(subclass Theria, infra-class Metatheria) An order (or suborder) of marsupials, restricted to Australia and New Guinea, that are characterized by a pair of enlarged, procumbent, lower incisors. The order includes three superfamilies: Macropodoidea; Phalangeroidea; and Vombatoidea.
