Loch Lomond stadial

Loch Lomond stadial Relatively cold period that occurred towards the end of the last (Devensian) glacial stage in Scotland. The event took place about 11000–10000 radiocarbon years BP. It is characterized by the development of small ice-caps and cirque glaciers in the Highlands.
