Ervi, Aarne Adrian (1910–77). Finnish architect. He worked for Aalto before setting up his own practice in 1938, designing a large number of works, including power-stations, industrial, and university buildings. Ervi won the competition to design Tapiola Garden City, Espoo, and from 1954–64 realized his projects for the town centre, houses, and apartments there, making use of the natural features of the site.
