Francis Carco

Francis Carco , 1886–1958, French poet and novelist, b. New Caledonia of Corsican parents. His real name was François Carcopino. The bohemian Parisian life he cherished is portrayed in several of his novels, including Jesus-la-Caille (1914). Among his verses are La Bohème et mon cœur (1912) and Poèmes en prose (1948).
