Cheryl Angelina Koehler is the publisher and editor of Edible East Bay, a quarterly magazine that reports on the farmers, fishermen, and chefs of the San Francisco Bay area who are dedicated to producing and using locally grown seasonal foods. She is also the author of Touring the Sierra Nevada, a travel guide to the 400-mile span of mountains that separates California and Nevada. In the work, Koehler offers ten driving tours, ranging from day trips to week-long adventures, to such destinations as Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park, and Gold Country. She also provides advice about local campgrounds, restaurants, and hotels and motels.
