PERSONAL: Born June 24, 1948, in Stillwater, OK; son of Loyd and Norma Hackler; married Michelle Anne Perra (marriage ended); married Ellen Catherine Walsh November 26, 1982; children: (first marriage) Jason Loyd (deceased); (second marriage) two stepdaughters.
