SIDELIGHTS:

Dennis M. DeWilde told CA: "During my business career, I had the opportunity to participate in two world-class experiences. As general manager for the British Petroleum Central North Sea oil and gas business, I designed and implemented an asset management model that became a worldwide industry standard for oil and gas operations. Then, from 1997 through 2002, I led the introduction of performance management concepts into the United Arab Emirates, through my work with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. These experiences in particular provided the research for a relational management model that is described in my book The Performance Connection."
