Yurisich, Gregory (b Mount Lawley, W. Australia, 1951). Australian baritone. Début Sydney (Australian Opera) 1974 (Paolo in Simon Boccanegra). Member of Australian Opera 1974–87. Prin. bar. Frankfurt Opera 1988–90. Débuts: NY (Lincoln Centre Trust) 1985; ENO 1988; CG 1990; Glyndebourne 1991. Created Alcibiades in Oliver's Timon of Athens (ENO 1991), and Cadmus in Buller's Bakxai (ENO 1992).
