Vittadini, Franco, Italian composer; b. Pavia, April 9, 1884; d. there, Nov. 30, 1948. He studied at the Milan Cons. After serving as organist and maestro di cappella in Varese, he returned to Pavia, where he was founder-director of the Istituto Musicale (1924-48).
