Pozzoli, Ettore , Italian pianist, teacher, and composer; b. Seregno, near Milan, July 22, 1873; d. there, Sept. 9, 1957. He studied with Ferroni, Appiani, and P. Fumagalli at the Milan Cons. Following a brief career as a concert pianist, he became a teacher of solfeggio and theory at the Milan Cons. in 1899. He composed a Piano Concerto and other orch. works, the oratorio La figlia di Jefte, motets, chamber music, and piano pieces.
