Naderman, Jean-Henri
Naderman, Jean-Henri, French music publisher and instrument maker, father of (Jean-) François-Joseph Naderman; b. Fribourg, 1735; d. Paris, Feb. 4, 1799. He became maitre jure de la corporation in 1774. In 1777 he received a publishing license, and subsequently brought out numerous works for piano and harp, much chamber music, and operas. With J.B. Krumpholtz, he constructed many single-action pedal harps, including an instrument for Marie Antoinette in 1780.
