Lurano, Filippo de, Italian composer; b. probably in Cremona, c. 1475; d. after 1520. He served as maestro di cappella at Cividale Cathedral (1512-15) and at Aguileia Cathedral (1519-20). His 35 frottolas (34 publ. by Petrucci, 1505-09) are particularly notable. Among his other works were 2 motets and a lauda.
