Komorzynski, Egon
Komorzynski, Egon, Austrian musicologist; b. Vienna, May 7, 1878; d. there, March 16, 1963. He took courses at various univs., including those of Berlin, Leipzig, Munich, and Vienna (graduated, 1900). He was a prof, of German language studies and literature at Vienna’s Handelsakademie (1904–34), and also music critic of the Österreichische Volkszeitung for 40 years.
