Victory 1981
Victory ★★½ 1981 (PG)
Soccer match between WWII American prisoners of war and a German team is set up so that the players can escape through the sewer tunnels of Paris. Of course they want to finish the game first. Not particularly believable as either a soccer flick (even with Pele and other soccer stars) or a great escape, but watchable. 116m/C VHS, DVD . Sylvester Stallone, Michael Caine, Max von Sydow, Pele, Carole Laure, Bobby Moore, Daniel Massey; D: John Huston; W: Jeff Maguire, Djordje Milicevic; C: Gerry Fisher; M: Bill Conti.
