The first of director Araki's teen trilogy, followed by “The Doom Generation” and “Nowhere,” concerns itself with the teen angst experienced by a loose group of friends—four gays and a lesbian couple. In short chapters, they meet, talk, and wander through a soulless L.A. as one of their group, film school student Steven (Luna), makes a video documentary about their situation (footage of which in intercut throughout the film). 80m/C VHS, DVD .
