Three short cable movies inspired by works of art. “Lightning,” based on Frederic Remington sketches and a Zane Grey short story, finds western codger Keith striking gold with the help of his trusty mule. A David Hockney painting suggested “Armed Response,” which features a confrontation between a wealthy lawyer (Loggia) and a burglar (Zahn).
