Neil Young: Heart of Gold ★★★ 2006 (R)
Demme shot two acoustic concert performances by Young at Nashville's fabled Ryman Auditorium on August 18 and 19, 2005, where Young featured songs from his new album “Prairie Wind” as well as some old favorites. In April of that year, Young had been diagnosed with a life-threatening brain aneurysm and wrote and recorded the album before his surgery. The concerts were the first after his recovery. 103m/C DVD . USD: Jonathan Demme; C: Ellen Kuras; M: Neil Young.
