Mon Homme ★★ My Man 1996

Marie's (Grinberg) a very happy hooker (think male fantasy) whose kindly impulses wind up getting her into difficulty. She picks up the homeless Jeannot (Lanvin), invites him in for a meal, offers him sex, and is enthralled by his unexpected prowess. Marie decides Jeannot should become her pimp but, unfortunately for her, he takes to his new job with great zeal, seducing manicurist Sanguine (Bruni-Tedeschi) as another lover/prostitute. But when Jeannot gets arrested, his two women decide to abandon him and turn respectable. Nothing exactly works out. French with subtitles. 95m/C VHS . FR Anouk Grinberg, Gerard Lanvin, Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi, Olivier Martinez; Cameos: Mathieu Kassovitz, Jean-Pierre Leaud; D: Bertrand Blier; W: Bertrand Blier; C: Pierre Lhomme.
