Lips of Blood
Lips of Blood ★★½ Levres de Sang 1975
Rollin whips up a typically festive mix of sex, horror, and hallucination in what some have dubbed his best film. A young man (Philippe) has visions of a woman (Briand, AKA Annie Belle) he met as a child in an abandoned castle. When he sees her again, she persuades him to unleash a couple of female vampires. Do not expect anything more in the way of narrative, but it is a well-made low-budget French horror movie. French with subtitles. 88m/C DVD . FR Jean-Loup Philippe, Annie Belle; D: Jean Rollin.
