KINOY, Arthur. American, b. 1920. Career: Donner, Kinoy & Perlin (law firm), NYC, partner, 1950-60; Kunstler, Kunstler & Kinoy (law firm), partner, 1964-67; Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, professor of law, 1964-, became Distinguished Professor of Law and emeritus professor. Center for Constitutional Rights, founder and copresident. Military service: Served in U.S. military in World War II Italian campaign; received Battle Stars. Publications: Rights on Trial: The Odyssey of a People's Lawyer (autobiography), 1983. Author of numerous law review articles and published legal briefs, including Conspiracy on Appeal, an appellate brief on behalf of the Chicago Eight. Died 2003.
