Goodnight, Sweet Marilyn
Goodnight, Sweet Marilyn ★ 1989 (R)
Supposed “never-before-told” story of Marilyn Monroe's tragic death. According to this, her death was the result of pre-arranged “mercy-killing.” Follow-up to director Buchanan's “Goodbye, Norma Jean” (1977) with Lane as the 1960s Marilyn intercut with scenes of Rowe from the first film as young Marilyn. You'd be better off leaving “Sweet Marilyn” to rest in peace. 100m/C VHS . Paula Lane, Jeremy Slate, Misty Rowe; D: Larry Buchanan.
