Durell (Ice Cube) and LeeJohn (Morgan) are buddies who both find themselves in need of some large money in a big hurry in order to escape tight spots. Naturally, they hatch a plan to rob the local Baltimore neighborhood church since, hey, who else has that kind of cash? Just one problem: someone has already unloaded the safe, and a handful of church officials are on hand to witness the whole caper. Undaunted, the two pals take the whole lot hostage, setting up a few lame attempts at humor as the characters find themselves stuck together.
