Dark Corners
Dark Corners ★ 2006
Writer/director Gower plays mind games with his audience and then leaves us confused and dissatisfied. Karen Clark (Birch), a suburban housewife undergoing fertility treatments, begins having horrific nightmares about a woman who looks just like her. Disturbed mortuary assistant Susan Hamilton (yep, Birch again) has blackouts. Both women learn that people they know are victims of a serial killer. Ah, if only the plot were actually that simple. 92m/C DVD . GB Thora Birch, Christien Anholt, Toby Stephens, Oliver Price, Ray Charleson, Joanna Hole; D: Ray Gower; W: Ray Gower; C: Paul Sadourian; M: Andrew Pearce. VIDEO
