Ciao, Professore! ★★½ Io Sper iamo Che Me La Cavo 1994 (R)
Okay comedy about conventional teacher Marco Sperelli (Villaggio), from northern Italy, who is mistakenly sent to a ramshackle village school in Naples, populated by poor, wily, unruly students. Both, of course, manage to learn from each other. Humor derived from northern vs. southern Italian culture clash may bypass most viewers although the cast of amateur kid actors provide charm. Italian with subtitles. 91m/C VHS, DVD . IT Paolo Villaggio, Isa Danieli, Ciro Esposito; D: Lina Wertmuller; W: Leonardo Benvenuti, Piero De Bernardi, Alessandro Bencivenni, Domenico Saverni, Lina Wertmuller.
