Andy Warhol's Bad ★★★ 1977 (R)

In the John Waters' school of “crime is beauty,” a Queens housewife struggles to make appointments for both her home electrolysis clinic and her all-female murder-for-hire operation, which specializes in children and pets (who are thrown out of windows and knived, respectively). Her life is further complicated by a boarder (King) who's awaiting the go-ahead for his own assignment, an autistic child unwanted by his mother. One of Warhol's more professional-appearing films, and very funny if your tastes run to the tasteless. 100m/C VHS, DVD . Perry King, Carroll Baker, Susan Tyrrell, Stefania Casini, Cyrinda Foxe, Lawrence Tierney, Tito Goya; D: Jed Johnson; C: Alan Metzger; M: Michael Bloomfield.
