ABDISHO OF KASKAR, ST.
Fourth-century Babylonian martyr. According to the Syrian Passio, Abdisho (Abdiesus, Ebedjesu, or Hebed-jesus) was chorbishop of Kaskar, Babylonia. Accused of conspiracy with the Romans, he suffered martyrdom with Abdas and 38 Christians under the Sassanid King Shapur II in 374 or 375.
