AABA Read Carlock Memorial Scholarship Fund (Professional Development/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide financial assistance to interested blacksmiths and/or immediate family members of AABA members for skills and abilities development. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be members of the Arizona Artist Blacksmith Association, as defined by Article 2 sections (a), (b, paragraphs I, II, III, and IV) of the AABA Bylaws, who have been members for at least one year prior to their application, or immediate family of those members. Criteria: Applicants are evaluated based on evidence of their strong desire for continued and serious investigation of the craft; quality of work as demonstrated by visual materials submitted with application; level of blacksmithing ability; record of professional activity and achievement; benefit to the Arizona Artist Blacksmith Association and demonstrated involvement with and commitment to AABA.
Funds Avail.: $500. To Apply: Applicants must submit all the required application information.
