Researchers at British Telecommunications are embarking on a radical project called "Soul Catcher." The goal of this project, led by Peter Cochrane, is to develop a computer that can be implanted into the human brain in order to support memory and computational skills. The work is complex and introduces ethical as well as technological problems.
