Nibelle, Adolphe-André, French composer; b. Gien, Loiret, Oct. 9, 1825; d. Paris, March 11, 1895. He wrote numerous operettas for Paris, the most successful being Le Loup-Garou (1858), Les Filles du lac (1858), L’Arche-Marion (1868), La Fontaine de Berny (1869), Le 15 août (1869), Les Quatre Cents Femmes d’Ali- Baba (1872), and L’Alibi (1873). He also publ. Heures musicales (24 songs) .
