Titan A.E.
Titan A.E. ★★½ 2000 (PG)
Animated adventure set after Earth is destroyed by aliens. Young Cale begins a journey through space to find a legendary lost ship—The Titan—that holds the secret to mankind's salvation. Visuals—both computergenerated and traditionally drawn—are breathtaking, but the script is earthbound. Dialogue too often falls flat, and the story, aimed at teen boys, never lives up to the epic visual dazzle. 95m/C VHS, DVD. D: Don Bluth, Gary Goldman; W: Ben Edlund, John August, Joss Whedon; M: Graeme Revell; V: Matt Damon, Drew Barrymore, Bill Pullman, Nathan Lane, Janeane Garofalo, John Leguizamo, Tone Loc, Ron Perlman, Alex D. Linz, Jim Breuer.
